What does everyone here use? I'm in the market; I can't seem to find the right boot.

Hi I use Sidi, they are comfortable and completly waterproof as I wear them every day all year (but I guess that living in Califonia you would not be to worried about that).
They cost me £119.00 which is $219.

:asb: You don't want MY opinion on this. My feet are so wide I can barely find shoes to fit me, much less motorcycle boots. For some reason most motorcycle boot manufactures assume that all sport riders have abnormally narrow feet. This is especially true of European brands.

Right now I'm wearing Alpinstar Gortex boots because I only had to go one size bigger (longer) than I should wear in order to get them wide enough for me.

At least they're comfortable and sort of waterproof.

C'est lavie

Sorry for the rant.

I also have wide feet and found that the Oxtars were the only thing that fit well. I also found that the race versions fit better than the street oriented boots. They seem to be fairly water proof, even with all the rain we had this year.

SIDI's for me, for normal sized feet they are a breeze to put on and take off. Lend remarkable comfort and tactility (just made up a new word) and my feet feel as secure and protected as I've ever had them; had my first bike 'off-ing' at wheelie school a week or two ago and of all the places on my body with aches and bruises my feet were completely un-fazed.

My Sidi experience thus far is such that I'm so pleased with mine that if there are a better pair of boots I wouldnt know about it because I've found no reason whatever to look at greener pastures.

I have a pair of Sidi boots that are the most waterproof of any boot I've owned, but the most comfortable boot for me is the Triumph boot. I can ride or walk in them all day without any problems, and they seem very well made. Mine are an older style, but similiar to the Expedition or Explorer boot. I was very pleasantly surprised at the comfort, fit and quality of them.

Thank you! I like either the Sidi or the Triumph. Triumphs are harder to find around here. I'd like to try before I buy.

Sidi for me too. Size 48 and they go bigger if you need it. I have 2 pair actually, the On Road for sport touring duties and Vertigo for track and day rides.
