My dealer and the his Triumph rep think they've found one for me. They're still not sure exactly how long it will take to get it to me, but I hope to be riding a beautiful all-black S3 soon enough.

I don't know how far you are willing to travel but Fox Triumph in Roxboro, NC has a black SE sitting there waiting for a good home. At least it was there 3 weeks ago when I got my red one.

As long as the wait for the one they've found isn't too extreme (I want to be riding it before the end of April), this dealer's done pretty good by me.

I do appreciate the head's up, though, and if the deal falls through or something I may have to make a road trip down to NC.

the dealer i purchased my new from took a 99 jet black in on trade........ MILAGE? 149 THATS ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE MILES..... !!!
first I thought what a waste.... then I thought SOMEONE WANTS THIS! its black with some Triumph aftermarket parts. canister, carbine fiber dash insert updated shifter. she was a beuty, Guy only road it to pick up a paper once in a while.... can ya believe it? again post here, and I'll hook ya up with the dealers info....

Well my SE is on the boat, so I'm pretty psyched right now. Granted I'd rather be out flogging it on the backroads today, but at least it won't be that much longer before it will be making me grin from ear to ear.
