Who makes a good bar end mirror? I can find very few on the web. CRG seems to have a good one, but pretty pricey. :???:

Thanks Pig. Those look sweet. How difficult is it to get them shippped to the States? I have never ordered anything internationally before.

Thanks again,

After waiting months and months trying to get them in the US I ordered them from Italy. In less than a week they arrrived. They appear to be geared toward selling internationally there weren't even any language issues in communicating. The price + shipping was about the same as the US price. So it was win, win.

How about function? Do Rizomas give a wide and unobstructed view when positioned inwards (as in the catalog photo)? Man, they sure look good but also cost and arm and a leg.

I have CRG - the folding kind, work great and can see everything with no vibration.

For me it was well worth the money, (lots less then Rizoma)

I never have had the Rizoma's folded in I have only had them out. The mirrors seem to be a little convex so you get a wide field of view. They also have a little bit of tint to the mirror also so no annoying glare. I can see several lanes wide a car length or two behind me and I don't have to hunt to find a good view in them like smaller mirrors. Plus I think they add to the "street fighter" look of the bike. They are a little steep in price but when I first saw them on a S3 I knew those were the ones I wanted. Any way you go I'm sure they will be better that the stock mirrors.

I was reluctant to by the CRG mirrors because of the price. After a close call because of poor rear visibility with the stock mirrors I made up my mind. They are worth every penny. They are excellent quality and have fantastic rear visibility. The bike looks much sleeker with out the "moose antlers".

Thing is... S3's bars are quite wide as they are. Any wider, and I'd fall prey to LA traffic.
I'm assuming you use them pointing out for a reason, and they wouldn't provide a better view than stock if they were to point in (?)

They may not be nearly as cool as the Rizoma mirrors (and I do like those a lot), but for 25 bucks the Napolean bar-ends work just as well (and the Emgo ones are only $10).
