Where can I buy aftermarket parts for the 2k5 online? Anyone have any reputable sources? I need somewhere either in the US, or who will ship to the US. I tried to search, but coundn't find much. I'm picking up my bike this week, hopefully. Going to need a project or two. :-D

You gotta be more specific on what you want. A lot of stuff can be made to work you just have to improvise. Remember customization isn't bought in a catalog.

Ahh, good thinking. I guess specifics would indeed help in this situation. In particular, I am looking for a licence plate bracket (US) so I can chop off the tail, as well as a slip on exhaust system, I've been considering a arrow, staintune (just found their usa distribution site), ART, or the Triumph race cans. I also wanted to check out the prices on a flyscreen, and seat cowl in black, and I'm hoping to check out some better mirrors, something rizoma- like. I'll probably just get some of the Napoleon bar-ends for a while, not in too big a hurry to spend too much money on mirrors up front. Oh, I'm also in the market for some frame sliders too.

I wasn't sure if there were a few good places that most people look for stuff around here... If there is, lemme know where! Sorry if this has been covered before, as I'm sure it has, but I'm not coming up with much from my searches.

That's a beautiful Mille you got there, btw!

thanks

Thanks, that Mille/Tuono is proving to be a fun bike now that its running and the conversion is done.

There was a long thread on chopping the back a while back, it was talked about when the 05 came out. I think it was called "first impressions". I think you're stuck with the Triumph cowl as no one else is really making one. You could do something cool like cut it and add mesh or somesuch material. Flyscreens are still limited to the Triumh one although you could probably make the ones on skykingproducts.com fit.
