A sort of how long is a piece of string question. Lots of variables, but I consistently get 4500km out of PP's on our crap roads.

About 8500km out of a front.

I have similar experience to Ferris. Somewhere under 10000km for the front and I use 2 rear tyres per 1 front.

The above is mostly granny style riding, so your mileage will probably be worse with the "pretty hard" riding.

Thanks guys, i had a set of road 2's on my kawasaki Z1000 so if i only get around 5000km's out of the Pilot Powers i will probably go back to the road 2"s, they were superb wearing tyres.

My original front lasted 7500+ miles and the rear about 4200, that was with proper air pressures and equal amounts of hard weekend riding, and commuting.

About the same for me. I try and keep the front up in the air to save on tyre wear!

Things move quickly in the world of tyres and the Pilot Power is now considered an 'older' tyre. The new Pilot Pure is supposed to have increased grip AND mileage, but I have yet to hear from anyone that has used them.

2400 miles on the rear and the sides were gone.. Good tires but don't last too long.

Had them on a GSXR and rode quite hard edge to edge front and rear, they went fast about 3000m on the rear and the front went from ok to no good shortly after. Great tires but with any grippy type tire longevity is sacrificed. Would like to try the 2 compound type one on my Sprint once. My next set will be the power pures though when the road 2 give up
