I happened to see a police-white Speed Triple at my dealers today. It was a 2006 model and the logo was blue. He also had a silver ´06 Bonneville. The other way around seemed more natural so I was wondering if maybe they have had some mix-up at the Hinckley paint-department?
Or maybe they are trying to sell triples to the Metropolitan Police and we got a surplus?
Seriously, it could be a fine reward for the good job they are doing at the moment. Keep up the good work both of you Mr Blair´s !

I've seen the pictures of a white 05 S3, but you actually saw one? In the flesh? The pictures I saw looked pretty good. I would find it acceptable.
I think it unlikely that the S3 would be chosen as any kind of police bike. It really doesn't fit any of the requirements.
The Sprint ST however... :

I liked the pic of the '06 white S3. So it's official?

Holy ***** would the Sprint be an awesome police bike. That***** floats. My girlfriend just bought one before she had someone pull out in front of her at night and wreck our car and her back. It'll be probably a year before she can ride again.
I'd have to see the white S3 in person to decide. Is that with the black frame?

This one was posted awhile back. I thought it was a photoshop job. Unfortunately I guess not.

Very Star Trek, isn't it.
Not that this is a bad thing.
Sorry to hear about your G/F, kuhlka. My regards to her and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Star Trek?!!
I would say Star Wars, definately the choice for the commuting stormtrooper (with blasterrifle on the back). And the McDaddy'o'Evil, D.Vader would probably go with an <98 carb 900 Tiger (black, of course). :hihi:

Sorry, can't call him that any more. D. Vader's character and likeness are currently licensed to Burger King, who would be very unhappy to have "Mc" anything associated with him.
:-D

Nah, I'd go with an all blacked out 499hp turbo busa like Ghostrider then get a set of the all black elite armor (Vader's personal unit, Black Squadron). That white S3 would look pretty good with a set of the white speeder bike trooper armor though, lol.

Yep, that's it. Do the usual stuff (seat cowl, flyscreen, barends, fender chop) and that bike looks sweet. Different and in a good way.
I still prefer silver frame/wheels (and red paint!) but until then the white is the best color I've seen on the '05/'06.
