Has anyone used the motul products ? I was thinking of trying the chain lube/clean and the motor oils. they have a spray cleaner as well. I don't wana wash the bike with water so they have a spray on wipe off type cleaner.

I've used their metal polishes to occassionally take the crud off of my pipe. Works great.

I have heard good things about their products for some time, but haven't seen any locally. Does anyone have a mail-order or online source they've used with satisfactory service?

The Motul chain cleaner spray is excellent for cleaning really dirty chains. It breaks up most of the dirt on contact and combined with a good chain brush it works wonders for those of us who ride rain or shine.

I use the Motul chain lube in the spray-can.
It really sticks to the chain and it doesn't fly around while your are driving....
A while ago they tested several chain lubes in a motorcyclemag in Belgium, and there it was something like the best buy (quality - price).(I'm looking for the test, if I find it back, I will post the link here)
And so far I'm happy with it, price and quality are ok, so what do you want more????

Just ordered the Motul Chain Cleaner and Chain lube on-line from: www.solomotoparts.com. Found them doing a search.

Price seems fair. Appreciate you guys bringing this topic up cause I was looking for a good cleaner and "non" fling lube. So for the price I am going to give it a shot.

Nothin to lose and a lot to gain hopefully..........

SEE...........this is why I love this forum............................ :-D

I have used The Motul chain cleaner and the street chain lube and the DOT 4 racing brake fluid.

The chain cleaner works well...an expensive way to clean a chain though approx 3 cleanings per can, I will be going back to kerosine.

I liked the chain oil, it did sling a little and I had to reapply every 300 miles, sooner if I hit rain.

I have recently gone to Motorex Racing chain lube, and track tested it, no sling, stays on longer and they make a little 2 oz can that refills FROM the full size can, for portability...BRILLIANT!
Only down....it is a translcent white film on the chain, I didn't think I was going to like that part of it... Truth is... I never really notice it.
