Hi Geoff!
I've got a '96 T3 speed triple in BLACK of course. I was toying with the idea of getting a later one but I'd always lusted after one of the early ones so I bought it late last year. It's in bits at the moment as I'm giving it a good clean and smarten up, check over, etc. but it'll be ready for the spring.

What part of London you from?

I'll have that virtual beer now :-g

Yeah Geoff.
I'm in Bromley (S.E. London/Kent)
Perhaps meet up at Boxhill one day in the spring when my bike is rebuilt (I'm using my Suzuki DR350 for winter fun at the present.

Hi Guys, Just found this site after giving up with the MCN message board. Just to let you know I have just bought a 1994 black speed triple after having an accident last summer in which my R6 was written off. I just wanted something totally different and I must say I think this bike is superb in build quality etc. (Tri Geezer thanks for the advice.) I live in Maidstone Kent and my bike is also in bits being cleaned and serviced, but hope to have it on the road for Spring.

Welcome Fridge. I remember your ogiginal post. Glad you saw the light like me.
You're right about the MCN forum - a complete waste of web space.
Good luck with the bike. Maybe you could meet up at Boxhill in the spring too.

Yeah that would be great, just waiting for the other persons insurance to pay up for my lost leathers and crash helmet etc but should be ready for the mid spring. Have you ever been to the Hastings run on the May bank holiday??

Hey Fridge,
Yeah I've done the Mayday run to Hastings a couple of times. I Hate It!!

15,000 bikes all getting in each others way, overheating in the innevitable queues that buil up in the too small country lanes and then struggeling for somewhere to park when you get there. If your gonna go, go real early in the morning before it gets too built up.

Great thing about it though - It attracts all the police for miles so me and my mates go in a different direction and have a real good rip up without seeing any plod all day :-D
