05 rims on a 00

Will rims off a 05 triple fit on a 00 triple? I think they look 100 times better than the stock rims I have on my 00 bike. thanks

The rear might bolt right on, but the drilling for the front rotors will be different. There are some nice wheels available for the older models. I have the Dymag 5 spoke wheels that I purchased from Jack Lilley.

thanks I was thinking it would be alot cheaper to buy a set of 05 rims off ebay than to buy some 1500-2000 aftermarket rims. For a 2000 speed triple that I can only sell for 4-5 grand.

Heck, if I thought about resale before I added all the mods on my bike, I would have left it bone stock! What you do is keep all the original bits, and when you go to sell the bike replace all the stock parts, and sell the upgrade bits on ebay. I bet a new set of '05 wheels will cost a pretty penny even on ebay. Good luck.
