Do it on a long wide strech of non-traffic pavement, wear lot of protective gear, take a friend who can call 911 for you, and take a couple swigs of whisky just to loosen you up and take the edge off

There is an instructional on youtube, but I would learn on a dirtbike, because it's more fun that way...

There are many roads, to get to the same destination, I prefer to clutch it up in 2nd at about 4k rpm and pop it into third, sitting down. A great way to do wheelies up to 1km in length till you eventually run out of revs/road/nerve! There are plenty of other methods, though, to accomplish the same. Stand ups are probably more effective, but can be hard to get used to, if you`ve only ever done sit downs.

Best to use the 'advanced search' function on here, there is a lot of subject matter available...

You are screwed.

Anyone that asks me that question after watching me wheelie gets NO advice.

Doing wheelies is a natural thing to me.

Started in the dirt lots of years ago and now do it on the S3.

Two methods with this bike are clutch it up in second. It hits balance point(which is very high) so fast you better be ready to slow it down with the rear brake.

I was also doing 3rd gear standups last night. A little fast but man, are they entertaining on the freeway. Standup, get the bike at the right revs, bounce it and enjoy the view.

That is all I got.

Best advice yet.

Also it is abusive to the bike.

My chin fairing has now been removed and fixed after I set one down to hard.
