Talking First of many I think

Second day of Speedie ownership and I've popped my first deliberate wheelie.
Not a huge one but most definately planned.
I had a grin from ear to ear.
After 5 years on the sprint I never managed to get the front up at all when I wanted to. Had a few unplanned ones especially 2 up.
Don't know if my technique was good or correct, all I did was to accel gently in first then at about 4 thou revs I quickly shut the throttle and opened it again sharply.
Result!

As I said not big, only about a foot maybe not even that but it felt Gooooood.

Welcome to the club...

The speedy doesn't even need that much help to get it up ...

Accelerate as normal, and just OPEN it up (without the dip first) and it will pop, just as easy ..

good fun.

Welcome and Stuh is correct :~) Justa Rolling start and drop the throttle She will stand Up!

Remeber to always cover the rear brake!

These bikes have a LOT of Engine Braking with the Stock Exhaust, just closing the Throttle will set it back down... But always have your foot over that rear brake just in case....

Also Watch How much Throttle you give her in turns LOL I've Gave Mine a Touch much a couple of time and it will Pull the front tire Off the ground... which is not a Good thing in a Turn :~) Love the Power of these bike AWESOME!
Only thing i have ever Riden with this much Power on Tap Is my 06 GSXR1000,But the Speedie is Way More fun on a Daily basis IMHO :~)

Wear Your Gear!!! Have Fun :~)
