Mivv GP Install Question
Ok ok ok, yes I've searched and yes I've read the other posts, but this question is not about the mid pipe, or the link pipe, or the spring...
I'm wondering about the actual band that goes around the can and attaches to the mounting bracket.
This is for an '07 exhaust.
My exhaust band has 3 holes in each end, 2 smaller ones near the bends, and one larger for the mounting bolt. Now, the instructions are pure garbage, and I am assuming the 2 small bolts + nuts + washers included are intended to go through the smaller holes to secure the band around the can.
Follow me so far?
Anyways, where I'm getting hung up is that the band is a very tight fit and even when I just mock it up with the large bolt, the small bolts aren't long enough to pass through both holes WITH washers WITH nuts... am I putting these in the right place? Do I *Really* need to crank that band on tight? I dont wanna dent or crack or wreck my sweet new can!
