Tail panel repair

During the process of trying to unblock the water drain from the fuel filler I had to take off the left side tail panel and manage to snap one of the attachment arms to hold it to the undertail.

Now it's the one by the main rear screw that hold the panel in place so I dont think it will be a problem, it's certainly not visible and it doesnt seem to be vibrating, but how would I go about fixing this ?

I read one site about using ABS Cement and a fiberglass patch to repair panels but what is the panel actually made out of ?

Any help would be appreciated.

The panel is made from ABS plastic.

Can you post a pic of the actual break, as it may make it easier for people to determine the best fix for your issue.

Either plastic welding or epoxy with fiberglass reinforcement behind it.

Plastex is good.
It's powder and liquid you mix that can either fill cracks and bond parts, or can 'remake' missing lugs etc, by making a negative of the part in the putty-stuff you get in the kit, and then pouring the Plastex solution into that.
