I noticed one of the guys on T595.net had converted his tail section to the T595 on his 02S3 and was wondering what was involved other than finding a T595 subframe, seats, and tail plastics. I sent an email but he hasn't gotten back to me as of yet. Anyone have any ideas? I really like that older style tail with the scoops on the sides, especially due to the extra undertail room for exhausts...

a guy around here bobbed(i think thats what you old guys usta call it) his '05 and it looks good. he had a custom aluminum sub-frame fabbed and radiator over flow. basically his sub-frame only holds the seat now. he also had to have a dump pipe built that lets out behind the rider peg. it was all one of custom stuff but it was done up buy Kenny Vaughn at www.kfabproducts.com. he doesn't have picks on the sight but he might be able to tell you a little more.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that bob job, unless you're talking about him chopping off the tail section up to the seat so there is no passenger section.

The main thing I need to know is if the T595 subframe will bolt directly onto the 955i frame. From what photos I've seen, the distances and everything look the same, and if not, I could probably modify them to fit properly. I just need to gradually collect the subframe, plastics, tail light, cowl, and seats. If I can get everything relatively cheap, I'll save the cash for some corbin seats like my local daytona buddy has.

yeah except he didnt cut it he had a whole new subframe made. and I would think it would be fairly close but even if it isn't you should be able to make brackets if your mechanicly inclined. I have seen pic's of TT's with gsxr tails its all just a matter of how much you want it to work. good luck
