hi

i'm sick of worrying about these 05 brakes. can anyone who would like an answer please post on this thread so that when i call triumph i can tell them how many people would like an explanation on why we cant get the performance out of these bloody brakes that we deserve.

Sorry mate I've just listed a similar thread. I cant make them any better after an hour of bleeding out the system. Maybe we need to change the fluid we use?

try motul, I used that with braided lines oln my 02 ninja and they are awsome.. even when they heat up at the track. I will try the motul dot 5 racing fluid and let u guys know how it went.

Mine aren't spongy but there seems a lot of excess lever travel. To start with nowt happens then when they bite i'm nearly over the front. Not progressive but i'm hoping to get used to it.

Here is a good question: Would an aftermarket caliper bolt up to the existing bracket? Or would this be wishful thinking?

I'm certain that some aftermarket units would bolt on. I was looking at some Tokico units that are factory on a ZX1200. They appear to have the identical bolt pattern and etc. These Brembo units also seem to be the same size.

sorry but after paying out £7700 i want the brakes that are already on the bike to work.

im not forking out more money (which i dont have) to replace the front brake system on a two month old bike
