I got my idle speed stepper motor wet - water actually poured out of it. The bike stalled at idle and the check engine light came on. I dried the motor out and sprayed WD40 in it and dried it out again. The check engine light went off, but the bike still does not idle properly. Do I need to have the ECU retuned or do I need to replace the stepper motor? Or maybe I need to replace the stepper motor and have the ECU retuned. Anyone out there familiar with this problem?
