O2 sensor removal

So i'm in my garage right now doing several maintainance items to my 06/07 bike right now and I remembered that I had bought an O2 sensor plug/block off for this bike that has been sitting in a drawer. It's from Dyno jet/Power Commander. Has anybody used this plug deal before? Does it work or will it screw up the running of my bike. I don't have the old Tune Boy that allows one to disable the O2 sensor but this thing plugs right into the wiring connector on the harnes in place of the O2 connection and supposedly eliminates it. What should I expect? I don't really don't want to reassemble everything as I now have it apart just to find out I need to remove this part because the bike runs like crap with it/ without O2 sensor. Thanks. Standingby.....

My 06 had the Dynojet O2 sensor removal plug on it along with the power commander when I bought it. The Power Commander began to act up (Wasn't reading throttle values properly) and it began to cause my bike to shut off randomly and surge at cruising speed. I removed the PCIII in order to save my electrical system but I left the O2 plug on the bike as I don't have the stock O2 sensor.

I have Arrow Slip-ons on my bike and a stock filter. The bike runs pretty rich and I am always wiping black soot from the tips of the cans. Running a little rich is harmless, though. It's running lean that's no good. With my bike the way it is, it Dyno'ed at 123rwhp on a Dynojet Dyno Without the PCIII

Rode it with the Dynojet/Powercommander plug on the O2 sensor this morning and did not see any difference. No negative issue noted. I did not measure mileage though. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. If I find out that all is well in the long term then I accomplished all I wanted, for now I did.......Riding the bike of clutter and several crippling weight ounces.
