Fitting different bars - 955i Speed3

Hi all

I’m currently in the process of stripping down and rebuilding my ’99 speed triple. I’m considering going for a more café racer look by fitting clip on bars.
I’ve been watching a Daytona T595 top yolk and clip on bars on ebay – anyone know if they would be a direct fit. Any one have any other options I could consider?

Cheers
Alex

I will say the that the S3 top clamp & bar risers much more valuable commodity than the Daytona variant.

You really don't need the top yoke if going from bars to clip-ons - just remove the risers and fit the clip-ons anyway.

In fact just noticed you have a 99 S3 aatkinson - in your case the instruments bolt to the triple clamp - the Daytona top clamp does not have that provision!

hi guys

just did a quick search and found this thread
i have an 07 daytona (digital clocks), i want to keep the clipon's for the cafe look but have bought an 02/04 speed triple combined headlamp/clock pod bracket to mount the clocks and lights.

trouble i'm having is when turning left the brake master cylinder fouls the clocks, is there a way round this or do i need a different bracket.
i've been looking on the net and found a single headlight conversion which includes a stand alone clock bracket and also a top yolk conversion for a 1050 triple but is there a triumph part that will suit or what mods can be done to make it fit without the brakes fouling the clock pod.
also the clutch cable rubs the light/clock bracket but i guess that is a simple fix by using the speed triple clutch cable with the clipon's
