Hi everyone, my owners manual specifies tire pressure as 36 psi front, and 42 psi rear for my '01 S3. Do you all go with those numbers or your handbook recommendations, as they seem a bit high to me, especially for a cold tire. It seems grip & handling might be improved with slightly lower numbers. What do you say??

I understand your point about the tire pressures but since this is my second Hinckley Triumph, my prior was a 95 trophy 3, I've always gone by the book when it comes to pressures. I just recently installed a new set of Avon Azaro AV56/57 and their site mentioned 32 front and 37 rear and so far it's been great for me. Hope this helps.
