Trimming the license plate holder for a small plate.

Hi everyone,

I am planning to fit the small thin european plates on my bike, and planning to trim all the plastic off the bottom of the plate holder including the dumb looking reflector thingy.

Here is my question, already I am getting a lot of mud on my back when driving in rain, will this make it worse or is the spray just from the sides of the tire that extend beyond the fender.

You will get a lot of mud on your back when driving in rain, that's the only small con you get when you remove the ugly plate holder :wink:
I have decided not to drive in the rain anymore :razz:
