Hey Guys,

Well this weekend I took a long ride and for the first time since I bought my S3 last October, with a passenger. Gotta say, the bike felt awesome sometimes almost forgetting I had a lovely female hanging on to me. I am sure some of it had to do with her having some experience as a passenger, but I have had many passengers in my day on other bikes and always new they were there. The bike handled great in the moutains, on the twisties, on the freeway and even cutting traffic. Oh yeah, also, the bike looks much better with a beautiful female on the back too..................... .

Just wanted to share what a great experience it was this weekend..........Was a little worried since I had to deal with some adapter issues a few months ago due to the high mount exhaust and getting that rt rear peg back on there, but the pieces i had machined worked out excellent!!!!!!

Now I just need longer weekends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:-D

I've had similar experiences. As unlikely as the S3 looks for riding two-up, it works pretty nice. My wife preferred it over our cruiser even.

Capt,

Sure I have lots of pics of her in my album.....................OH you mean the lovely passenger not the bike. I'll see if I can't get a hold of some and pot them up just for you Capt!!!!!

I mean I feel sorry for ya - you know what they say about speaking (or typing) what your thinking without realizing it........................... :hammer:

She is a real beauty to me (and I don't just mean the bike)...............

My wife rides with me quite often. She grew up riding behind her dad, so she's a great passenger. On one of our RAT Pack rides, the rest of the pack was passed by a couple of guys on sport bikes. I was leading the pack and was the last bike for them to pass so I thought I'd have a little fun with them. Being a fairly experienced rider with an experienced passenger, the guys on the sport bikes could not keep up with us in the twisties. After I let them around, so I didn't get too far ahead of the Pack they, we met up at a gas station again. The two guys on the sport bikes were amazed that I could out run them with a pillion. It's really a great bike 2-up.

On another recent trip to the Dragon, a buddy of mine, who will remain nameless since he is a forum member and was embarrassed by having to ride pillion on the dragon, had problems with his bike. He ended up riding pillion all the way through the Dragon. He weighs about 100 lbs more than my wife, but the bike performed flawlessly. It's really a great all around bike!

What kind of loser would end up riding pillion through the Dragon?!!!!
If it were me, I'd be hanging my head low.....

Oh yea,....... That WAS me... :-|

Even with 240lbs of me on the back, TripleThreat's S3 did great!

:-D
