For those of you who have ART, Wolf... or any of the other exhaust system on their '05 I have some questions.

I just put the stainless race cans on my new bike. They sound great but looks are kind of bland... identical to stock. I was reluctant to pruchase something after market for fear that the it may not run to its potential because of fuel mapping. The looks of the after market systems are FAR superior in my opinion.

So heres what I need:

What brand? How much? Where from? How long for delivery?

Are you running the fuel map for the race cans or stock? does it run ok?

How is fit and finish?

How does it sound? (besides friggen awesome) I had an '03 with the carbon can so comparisons to that would be useful.

Anyone wanna buy my stainless cans with about 100 mi on them?

Thanks,
Chris

How much were they new? Are they much lighter (without the cats)? I dont mind the looks of the stock cans. I just want it to sound better.

Hi
I got a pair of Art cans for my baby. They are about £600 for Carbon. They did run fine on std map but my dealer suggested a remap so I accepted the advice and it was worth it. She runs much better than bog std with original cans and with cans with std map. The baffles are removable to give a real howl when revved. With baffles she is 95 db without bafles much higher but not riduculous,,, They fit really well but cant use the silly little guards that go in front of the std can. I'm sure Chris at Art has sorted this now (my bike was used as the template). The finish is superb....

Go for it get a set of ARTS.

Hi TT how much are you selling your cans for. I quite like to keep my 05 S3 standard but race cans would be the next purchase for me as I have the body kit on order.
Drop me an email Raynwb@aol.com

I would buy your cans as well, thay aren't that bad and it keeps the short stubby look . tha aftermarkets are 3 or 4 inches longer and it ruins the stubby look of the bike I think. I live in newhersey u can e-mail me jnicosia@comcast.net

I bought a set from Wolf. They arrived in Virginia 4 days after I ordered them. I bought them without baffles and I like the sound, but we can get by with fairly loud pipes in most parts of this state. Shipped to my door, the cans were about $850.

I haven't had the bike remapped but will probably do it soon. There is a little popping on the overrun but that happened with the stock pipes too.
