Frame sliders

Which sliders do you use? I have an '08 and am looking to invest in some.

I'd also like to know where you purchased them - I have checked at a few places on the internet, british customs etc. I can find a few such as the LSL ones, but if I order through them there are very high shipping fees for such a small item, and you have to pay the additional 10% California sales tax. Any recommended links?

Thanks

R&G aero sliders attach to 2 mounting points instead of one. May help with that problem.

Do a search on here though there are some firsthand encounters with pictures shown.

I have the Rizoma's from PJ's Parts - no tax for you in CA.
I think the new R&G set with two mounting points may be a better solution however. I've purchased other R&G (front wheel) bungs from British Customs. Both sets look great, add weight, and would appear to do the job.

i would suggest the R&G aero frame sliders or the GSG offset mount frame sliders for your bike from british customs, the R&G sliders are a dual mount slider which is designed to not puncture the head in the case of a fall like other cheaper frame sliders out there. the GSG is also another great slider as it uses the existing motor mount bolt but has a 40mm foward offset to clear the knees of the rider. both great sliders and highly recommended. as far as shipping cost through BC, it would prob be cheaper to purchase over the phone as they can give a more accurate weight and shipping quote

When you consider what a frame slider actually is, what you're actually getting, it's ridiculous that some places expect you to pay $150 for them by the time it's all said and done. The item looks like it costs $5 to make.

For mine? I just received them last night. The come with big Allen head cap bolts. I believe you replace the factory Torx head bolt when installing them. I emailed them to see which side goes where.
