Another New Speed Triple Owner

Hello to everyone on the S3 forum. I've been a member over on the Tiger board for some time and love Triumph's in general. I ride a 1050 Tiger, and previously owned three 955 Tigers, so I'm familiar with your engine, albeit differently tuned. I've always considered it my no.1 bike as I love high mileage touring.

Anyway, following a few "issues" with my no.2 bike, I've just traded the Rocket3 for a new 15th Anniversary SE Speed Triple. Some of you may I've seen the light at last and maybe the S3 will become my no.1, who knows, I'm looking forward to finding out.

One question I have is; will the T bar grab rail fit on the latest Speed Triple ? I've heard contrasting info and despite a quick search here I can't find a definitive answer.

I'm sure I'll have more questions and comments in the coming weeks, months, and hopefully years.

Good luck with the new bike! Strangely enough, I have exactly the same combination - 1050 Tiger and (non anniversary) Speed Triple. I think the combo is fantastic. My favorite alternates from day to day. The Tiger is great for no hassle, long rides. The triple is my choice for bike nights, riding with the local Ducati guys, etc.

Have fun and enjoy!!!

Cheers Rolex.

OK, I can now answer my own question.

The T bar grab rail will not fit on the latest Speed Triple.

I just collected one from my dealership and tried it. Although the boils holes basically lines up, the tail end of the bike is different and prevents its proper installation.
