Smile Any experience of fitting a Power Commander?

Hi all,
I've had my 2007 Speed Triple now for just over 12 months and I love it to bits, awesome bike. No being someone who likes to play around with his bikes, I've been toying with the idea of fitting a Power Commander, I'v heard some good things on fitting them to other bikes and wondered if anyone had an experience here on fitting them to the Triple.

I've got an Arrow 3-1 system (fitted by the dealer) and a K&N Air filter, but haven't had the tuning played with since fitting the filter (which various places recommend).

I'm not really looking to add any top end power, just looking to see if I can improve the general performance of the bike. Like I say, I like tinkering with my bikes!

Views/experiences welcomed!

No PowerCommander available for 07+ 1050s. Only for 05 to 06 (first gen Keihin ECU bikes). PCV has been in the works by Dynojet for later bikes for a while, but I have my doubts if it ever is finished.

TuneBoy is your only option at the moment. Better than PC in my opinion as TuneBoy enables modifications to your stock ECU contents, instead of adding a dumb piggyback system like PC.

As Martin said, Tuneboy is currently your option, but the benefit here is that there is nothing to "fit". Just connect the Tuneboy cable to the data port under the seat and re-flash the engine map. No hardware to install. I've showed to Tuneboy program to a few people with power commanders on their bikes and they were thoroughly impressed with the added things you can do with it over the power commander

I don't know what you can expect to gain in performance over the map that the dealer loaded aside from dyno tuning, since it is an official triumph tune for that exhaust. But i do have a different exhaust setup, so someone with the 3-1 might be able to give you better detail on that.

There's a Tuneboy group buy going on right now. I believe you have until July 31st to decide. You'll save about $80 USD.

Thanks all for the info! Very much appreciated.
I'll do some reading round on TuneBoy and see if I can find this group buy.

Cheers!
