07 to 08 tail light conversion????

Hopefully picking up an 07 s3 next week I like the 08 tail light better is there a way to put the 08 on an 07....anyone done it???? thanks

08 tails are completely redesigned from the 07's. Different size, shape, undertail, etc. Can't imagine any sort of conversion is possible unless you get very creative with a custom fab of some sort. Also don't think 07 is LED whereas 08 is, so you'd have to sort out the relay or add some resistors if you did get an 08 light fab'd up somehow.
