Hi Celt
I have checked the coolant level. Id say it is only 1/4 full which is probably why its never splilled over. Cant see where the overflow pipe runs.

Could you keep the level low and see what happens. So long as the level doesnt disapPear you should be OK.

I'm sure my fan runs on even when the bike is turned off (not 100% but will check).

It looks like my bike drains itself right down to the MIN mark. And while I don't remember ever getting to 8 bars, the fan runs a lot. If it's operating within specs like this, fine. But I'm not wild about the bike puking coolant out in the middle of the indicated levels on the expansion tank, because I like to let my cat in the garage to eat bugs.

I have a cure for your bike spewing coolant. I flushed my system, and went with a waterless coolant that has a 350 boiling temp, so I'll never leave pee stains on the ground again. Check it outEvans cooling

2cats i have two of my own and they are mousers as well so the coolant isnt good for them.

i think at the very min level its not going to leak anymore but i want it sorted in the future. at least i can now show my dealer that its not an isolated problem and they may pass this on too triumph,

and who knows maybe they will solve the problem.

the bike is blooody lovely though, isnt it chaps

sorry i cant not rave about how good this bike is as i was out for a blat down to see the British Superbike race at Croft today and it was an awsome ride out

I can't see how it would affect your warranty. It is only coolant, and better for you system, as it won't do all the bad things water does. I put it in last fall, and have had no problems. You gotta flush the system with their prep fluid to remove all but something like 4% water, and fill it with NPG+. I highly reccomend it!

i am going to drain and replace with engine ice coolant as it has lowered temps in other bikes i've ridden. I dont have a manual but i can see the obvious parts of the cooling system---rad cap, bleed screw on rad----anyone kinow where the drain is? (assuming one of three bolts on the water puimp cover) and is there another bleed screw on the h20 pump?

Celt, yes you have to fill the resiovor under the sea to the cold fill line after you burp all the air out of the system. Piece of cake, really, but the way to go. I talked to a rep of the company here in Ct., and he told me he has sold many gallons to satisfied cycle owners. Do the research, and come to your own conclusion. Good luck!
