I also liked it very much on the track and the lack of power and soft suspension didn't bother me after a while. I had enough fun anyway :-D

I don;t understand what that guy meant by his rearsets were scraping before he hit maximum lean angle. In this picture it looks like the only thing that could possibly scrape first is his leg/knee. Am I wrong? :???:

You are not wrong, but a knee dragging doesn't necessarily mean maximum lean angle. The way I hang off the bike, my knee touches down relatively early, then as I lean further, it comes up closer to the bike. I was doing this until my rearsets (and boot toe sliders) started dragging, and I still felt there was some lean-angle left, after that...

I hope this answers your question

Even the cheapest bikes I've owned have included the spanner wrench in the oem tool kit.
Me too... I didn't realize this one didn't 'till I looked after reading your post... rrgh

It's a little early, but I'll be at Jennings on Nov 12-13 with STT, do you ever make it up to VIR?

Prag - I'll post up some two-up ramblings in a new thread, first, time for some :-g

My wife and I both work permanent weekends since relocating from Florida last July. This has curtailed any track days to this point. We have the option of using our vacation time and taking every 7th weekend off if we choose. The only problem is that no track days have fallen on that "7th" weekend. I'll have to look at the calender to figure out if we can take that weekend in Nov off. So far we've only ridden Jennings, having lived in Tampa it was the closest. But since we're now in NC we'd like to check out some other tracks, VIR, Barber. The only problem again is that "7th" weekend deal.

This is slightly off topic... Here's me with my S3 04 on a local racetrack...

Now if I would only be able to get a rich sponsor who would fork over the dough for the tires...

Not really, since unless you crawled completely onto the top side of the bike I still can't see much dragging from that picture. Where in that picture is the first piece of hardware that would touch down, assuming your body never touched first (somehow)?

Actually I think it's because leather usually comes from dead cows, who are killed for food, while fur comes from animals that are killed only for the purpose of making furs.
