Never use a pressure washer on a bike! I have heard horror stories about water getting in places it should not. Use a damp cloth with mild soap and wipe it down. I use a window cleaner for my pipes and lenses etc. "Protect All" or other use Engine Brite for the rest. It takes longer but it is worth it. Once you do it a few times you will get to see where the dirt collects. My 2 cents.

Do a search on this topic, and you'll see it has pretty much been beat to death!

I keep it simple . . .

1. hose it down
2. spray S100 on bike
3. rinse well
4. dry with cycle dryer (it's just like a leaf blower, only a lot smaller and easier to move into small places)
5. spray S100 detail wax on painted areas . . wipe and buff
6. run clean terrycloth rag over mag wheels to clean excess waterdroplets
7. Windex mirrors and headlights

Start engine, ride bike for a few minutes to get ALL the water out . . .

Works every time.

S-100 make good products for maintaining your bike. I use it on my bicycles as well. I buy the bike wash in the big (gallon) container at 40 bucks, because you pay too much for the pint. Great stuff!
