i have 2 questions for all of you.

1) i am getting numb hands on long rides. does anyone know where i can get some bigger bar ends?

2) i see the service manuals are available for the 05 st and s3 does anyone have a digital copy of them? i cant see spending $80.00 on it.

1. There may be some, but I'm not familiar with them, sorry. Depending on your size, though, the real answer may simply be riding with your wrists and hands more relaxed. This is a bike that only needs a gentle touch in nearly all circumstances. Took me a little while to remember to mentally disconnect my hands from my arms when riding it.

2. No digital ones, not legally. You paid over $10 grand plus tax and fees for the cycle, maybe several hundred more for exhaust and/or seat upgrades, but $80 is too much for a bit of knowledge?

Get some Throttle Meister Bar Ends to do cruise control when you're just coasting down the highway.

and/or

Get a Throttle Rocker from RideTeamTriumph. They've got the Throttle Meisters as well. You'll probably just need to drop them a note asking if they've got a set that'll fit the 05.

The Throttle Rocker helped me quite a bit on the way to and from St. Louis as it took a lot of stress off my grip. The main thing that'll help with sleepy hands is just loosening your grip as best you can.

I've got the same problem on longer rides. Keeping up with traffic seems to keep you right in the "buzziest" rev range. There's no lack of torque, so I'm thinking of a taller sprocket ratio. But until then, has anyone tried a bar snake? Seems like it would be more effective than just the ends.

I've got Momo carbon fiber grips and I do just fine. Its not going to matter how squishy your grips are if you're giving them a death grip. Just stay loose and you'll find your hands will fall asleep a lot less.

wow i get no vibes at all. This is almost the smoothest bike i've ridden. I was thinking of shortening the gearing up a little .
I put a Tag aluminum cr high bend bar on wich may have helped. I get the hard acceleration wobble through 85 mph/hard acceleration crossover wobble that is kind of interesting :hammer:

Big bar-end mirrors would do the trick. I had Napoleons that were heavier than any bar-ends available [1lb each maybe] They should kill any vibes in the bars.

I got a Haynes manual for $20 online. It's cheaper, more user friendly, and has better illustrations than the factory service manual. Plus its hardcover.
