The '05 s3 Owner's Handbook states, "The rear suspension unit spring pre-load is not rider adjustable". I never heard of such a thing. Are you supposed to have the dealer set up your suspension for you??!!! Anyway, my suspension is much too soft for my 200 lbs at the stock settings causing excessive sag and a lot of rear end squat under acceleration. Then with all that weight transfer the front end gets too light. What size "spanner" wrench do I need to increase the rear preload? Every other bike I've owned included a little cheap one in the OEM tool kit. I don't want to use a punch or screwdriver and hammer for fear of dinging up the parts.
