Hi S3 fans,

I just bought a '05 S3 a week ago. I'm still breaking in the engine, but I must admit it already feels marvelous. I previously rode a VTR 1000 F, and I thought I would miss the torqy feel, but I don't.
The brakes are also muuuch better, but then I've noticed that when trying to brake a little bit hard, I experience some rebounds on the front fork that I think they could be solved adjusting a little bit the fork settings.
Any idea of what should I do in order to get a more stable braking? I've noticed that using the rear brake helps keeping the bike more stable, but I'd like to be able to use just the front one when riding hard. The engine brake good enough for not needing rear brake, just like most of the twins.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Take a look at the manual and try out the recommended 'Hard' suspension settings (remember to adjust the rear to match the front) before inventing your own combination. I feel the recommendations are quite good and balanced.

This should cure the rocking horse behaviour when you are braking if that is what you were referring to with your "rebounds" experience.
