battery?

It seems like most dealers all vote for Yuasa batteries (YTX14-BS)?

Everyone I have asked has said they last longer and that is the main Bat they carry. Can you recommend any other?

thanks

NAPA has compatible batteries that will work. I can't say how long they last for (got mine last year and so far so good), but they at least work if you're in a pinch.

Motocross Batteries

I have ordered from here a couple of times

http://tristatebattery.com/

They sell "Motocross" brand batteries, which are suposedly the Yuasa house brand........ The batteries i received even had Yuasa paperwork and Acid bottles.

I have SVR in mine which has been outstanding.
Also DEKA gets excellent reviews.

I have a 5 year old Yuasa AGM in my S3 and it is still going strong. It's lived on a BT all that time when parked.

I got mine at Wal-mart and I have no complaints. I use a trickle charger (also from Wal-mart) during the winter off and on, and she fired right up this spring, even in very cool (30 deg F) weather.

I should probably mention that my bike is stored inside heated for the duration of the winter, but goes out in early spring and sits in an unheated garage in occasional below zero temps.

I've only used Yuasa's. They're a little pricey but haven't had an issue, even when they lose charge and need some juice.
