Werkes tail tidy
Hey out there, I know this topic has been beaten to death but I cant decide on a fender eliminator. Im considering the werkes mainly because of the price. I was wondering if anyone has this and what their thoughts are on it. Also if anyone has any better pics of it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Nobody knows what you're riding!
If you could, please go to the user CP and add you info so users can see what year, etc. you are inquiring about.
Hope to be able to help! Check out Free Street Design. I've got one on my '03 and it is SO clean.

Hey, a Maryville MO Speed Triple! I graduated from NW in 2001. How is the ville these days, anyway? I'm in Minneapolis now, haven't been back in a while.

I'm riding an '08 S3. I'm wanting to do a tail tidy, but my issue is limited space, lack of tools, and a desire to not make any mods I can't roll back.
Is there a tail tidy kit you can do without destroying anything?

The free street design undertail is super clean, but requires a slight amount of modification (i.e. hacking off that huge platehanger with a saw and mounting the new unit up against the existing undertail). I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but not as far as body work, and it took me a while to gain the confidence to do the work. But I'm glad I did! Its the cleanest undertail I've seen so far.
Check out their website (it's not great) and look at their pics, then let me know what questions you have.

Checked it out... I like how the turn signals are incorporated however over (IMHO) Im not really a fan. Its a bit over the top for me. I really like the simplicity of the mad doctor kit but at 260$ plus shipping, its pricey.
Someone out there must have the werkes... anyone? there must be one!!!

What does your exhaust look like? Can you post a pic? Or do you have a pic on the pic sticky?

Does their 1050 undertail fit the '08 and later models? I'm doubtful because of the redesigned tail section (I'll probably end up going for the competition werkes model myself).
