In the original post he said the tow truck was on the way. Did you figure out the problem before they got there? Or did you pay for the tow?

I managed to cancel the tow-truck... boy did I feel silly!
But you should have seen the grin on my face when I discovered the "problem"...

....ahhhh... going tomorrow for the 800Km revision!

I had a similar experience. I parked my bike at a bike shop and when I went out to start it, no fire. It took me a couple of tries before I saw that the kill switch was off.
