Another exhaust thread

Hi,

I know there has been a lot of posts about exhausts and tuneboys etc but I would like to know if any one has fitted a Remus Powercone single end can to replace the twin underseat standards and if they altered the ECU map. This is a street legal end can.

Am I correct that the ECU is fully re-programmable

Is there anywhere in the UK north west that can do a custom map if required? Not the pre set triumph ones.

My bike is the 07 1050 so should be the same from 05 on, appart from the O2 sensor point.

Yes, but with a TuneBoy only. Official Triumph shops cannot do one-off custom tunes, they can only upload pre-made & Hinckley supplied tunes onto bike.

Maybe check www.t595.net board and the EFI tuning section. There are few UK dyno operators who post there frequently.

Not necessarily the same. Different tunes for pre VIN 281465, VIN 281466 to 305059 and from VIN 305060 onwards. Mainly due to changes in exhaust, different ECU and changes in emission standards.

I agree, Triumph download will be fine, my dealer did mine for twin Beowulf, and said same tune will be OK when/if I go low, as long as the low fitted is street legal
