ok is triumph going to make this bike for 06 or not? and is there a link to spy shots if they are? Thanks mates....

Here is a spy shot. The frame looks speed triple as does the tank and passenger peg brackets. I hope its at least 750 in cc's. Much more and it would be intruding in on the 1050. The fairing may be tacked on to hide from prying eyes.

Are you sure that's not just an old preproduction spy shot of the 05 speed triple?

Thats what it looks like to me. I think that'd be a sweet bike if they'd make an 05 S3 with a tail like the 05 650 daytona and a triple underseat exhaust like the sprint.

Or a new Speed Four using the 650 Daytona instead of the TT600 would be sweet as well.

im thinking that if it were a preproduction version of the 05 S3 there would be an exhaust visible under the passenger foot peg bracket. even if they hadnt gotten the cans finalised yet they would probably be at least hanging in the right spot.

British weekly 'MotorCycleNews' did an article early last year on the subject and had a couple of spy shots of the bike. They alluded to it being a 680cc triple because it would be legible for World/British SuperSports racing at that capacity and it also had an F.I.M. spec toe guard fitted (sharknosed fin on swingarm!). Packaging a 680 triple for racing would not only be easier than it's outgunned 599 but would fit in with Triumphs Triple marketing so they say....Aprilia and BMW are now also looking more at triples for racing but may in fact be working on the same project.....Apparantly :hammer:

They might have also thrown the Sprint's exhaust on it to keep the exhaust hidden. Don't want too much getting leaked with the spy shots.
