A friend of a friend works for Leo Vince here in the US and we've been talking about possibly doing a slip on for the 05 Triple. After taking some measurements and seeing just how tiny the midpipes are at the exhaust, we're realizing that nothing they have is going to fit. Now he's contacting Leo Vince Italy about doing a half system. I guess he didn't realize just how popular the new Speed Triple really is around the world. We also have a pretty limited number of choices for aftermarket pipes, with Blueflame being the first to even hint at a half system.
What I'm asking is would people be interested in a half system for the 05 Speed Triple? I for one am. No promises yet, but it is being discussed. They also make some right pretty full ti cans. None of that ti sleave with stainless end can *****. :-D

Looks pretty nice, but there's nothing wrong with a little competition either.

I sent a long e-mail to Igor Akrapovic about this, told him this bike was rewriting the new category of "super nakeds" everywhere it's sold, told him that the development cost of a full system could be realized in the first production run.
Leo Vince makes as good a full titanium racing system as anyone, and this bike could gain 10-15hp with the right full system.
Another thing to consider is the growth of the european naked series, this bike is a natural for racing with just a few safety mods, and a full race exhaust that brought real gains would really be in demand.
Personally, I would have no problem paying $1,200 to $1,500 for a full titanium evolution system with 2 carbon stubby cans that matched the stocker's dimensions and brought a 14hp gain.
My guess is the bike is gonna be the determining factor, the aftermarket will have to respond, I only wish it was now.
