Went out to the garage and noticed a puddle of oil about the size of a playing card.

I traced the leak back to a spark plug looking sensor (with a thin black wire coming out of the top) sticking straight up out of the casing behind the cylinders about dead center(easier to see from the shifter side)
The sensor also has a steel tube coming out of the base that merges into a short braided line and ends at the top-back of the cylinder on the throddle side.

The leak seems to be pooling around the base of that sensor.

Any ideas what the leak might be from?

I'm not familiar enough yet with the new engine layout to feel qualified to offer any authoritative opinion...but I wonder if the tube you're talking about is the camshaft oil feed pipe?

If so, the sensor is probably the oil pressure switch. These are sealed internally, but the seal can sometimes fail and leak oil. Simple fix under warranty, so best to tend to it before you leak too much more oil.

Got the warrantee job done, it was the oil pressure switch,
It just wasn't tightened down enough, someone at assembly had a brain cramp and missed it.
30 minutes at the shop and good as new.
