When is suspension too old ?

My 2003 Speedy has 28,000 miles on the clock. The bike rides and handles fine but my guess is that slow degradation over time is not picked up by the rider because we just get used to it. So is it worth investing in new suspension ? I was thinking of Hagon which is inexpensive,but I don't know if it's as high quality as the OEM. Might start with front springs and go from there. Has anybody changed suspension and got improvements after decent mileage ? Or do I stick with the originals and save money ?

If the suspension suits you well, just have the fluid changed in the forks and shock. If you have more money, change the front springs. After that, it's just about how you have to, are willing to, spend. Having the stock shock revalved is probably as good or better than a Hagon for a bit less.
