Thinking of buying some of these. I heard they look real cool. Do they use more power? I dont want to do mods that draw more power.

When you want to make a link clickable, use the black button at the bottom of the message pane that says "URL" (just below the smilies) Just paste in your web address in the dialog box, and in the second dialog box type in the name of the web site.

Likewise, if you want to place an image click the IMAGE button, an so forth for bold or italic text.

Here is that address:

Can't comment on intensity of the bulbs, but for sure they're not HID's - just Halogens. Sounds like they're similar to Silverstars.

I have a low beam HID on my BMW K12RS...put it on last year at Paonia, Colorado Top of Rockies rally...$390 installed.
You will need no other lighting...this HID rocks.!!

I use it in conjunction with my MotoLights (triangular - so that the cages know it's a bike coming at them and not a one head-lighted auto.)

Not sure how the HID would be mounted on the S3...you've got to find a place to hide the ballast and wiring. They told me that the HID runs cooler than stock OEM lighting -- so the heat would not factor at all for either scoot.
