I just bought a used 2003 Speed Triple today, and I have some questions. First, I noticed a few hoses that were just hanging, not plugged in to anything. Is that normal, and how many should there be? Also, are there any common problems with this particular year? Thanks!

I can think of at least four hoses hanging on the left side of the bike. Vent and drain lines for the fuel tank, overflow for the cooling system and drain for the air box.
There is one recall for the two male fuel fittings. Not specific to the '03 only.
