What are your opinions of coming off your old S3 (no matter what year) and rocketing on the brand new 2005 version.??

Yeah, let's hear it! I'm actually thinking of trading in my '03 if I can get a decent trade value. I figure this might be the last chance to do something stupid with my money.....looking into buying a condo soon and then all my money will be going for mortgage. Who cares if I have to sit on folding camp chairs in my living room.....as long as I got a new bike :razz:

Changed from an 955 s3 to an 05 s3 on Monday (via a VFR 800, but that's another story). And I didn't even mind the rain and snow on the ride home.
The plus points are: better engine, better gearbox, better handling, better brakes, better looks, more comfortable. The negative points are: the lack of a rear mud guard means the bike gets very dirty in the rain and snow (there is no rear hugger available yet either).

I dont even think they're comparable, I need more seat time to really get oneness with the bike but right off the bat it pulls like a 1000cc sportbike and the handling is a wonderful blend of supermoto flickability and bankvault mid corner stabilty.
