I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures again. I thought I had it down, but screw it. Just go to my Webshots site in my sig and you'll see all of them.
What I had tried to post was a couple of minor issues that I had with the install. Installation was easy enough, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the pipe to not touch the bottom corner of the turn signal and it is awful close to the rear plastic that the license plate mounts to.
I'm still happy and will iron this out soon. It still looks a d*mn sight better than OEM.

It took me a while to get mine adjusted to where it wasn't touching also. From looking at your photos, have you tried to get the down tube more straight up and down? This will cause the tip to lower. Also try siding the down tube further down on the header. I had mine down as far as it will go.
Good Luck!

Hey red,
I have the same pipe with the same problem.
I do have room to slide it down so I'm going to give that a try.
I just wished Jardine would have cromed the s pipe too.
I would post pix but I can't figure it oiut either.

I got the onsie from Foxracing.com. I'm not sure if they still have them though. I seem to remember my wife saying they were on clearance. But check out the site or give them a call. Maybe they still have some left.

Hey chris, I got my Jardine Hi Mount after reading your post. Just put it on and the exhaust either barely touches or barely doesn't touch the turn signal, I can't tell -its that close. I listened to the advice and put the S pipe all the way down the header. I think it actually makes it worse, because then the highest part of the can is under the turn signal. You can't slide it down to the point where the spout is under the turn signal, it doesn't go that far on the header.
You can't make the S pipe more "up and down" either because the mounting bracket requires it in a certain position-- it wouldn't help anyway cuz the pipe is just too high. The problem is the ***** mounting bracket, it forces the can so high. Wrapping the muffler clamp around the can and tightening it together on the mounting bracket was the toughest part of the install, mainly because I have no good tools.
Anyway, I appreciate the advice especially on buying from Starcycle, they were awesome. Your pictures were helpful too.
I have one main question now for anyone with this pipe: How has your turn signal handled the heat from the can????? Is it melting?? I have the Buell smoked out turn signals on my bike (about the same size as stock), and wiring the back ones was a pain in the a** so I don't want to have to change them. I hope it doesn't melt!!
PS-- cute kid, awesome PJ's -- I wan't a pair for myself!

I haven't had an issue with the turn signal, *yet*. The reason is that all I've had time for lately is riding back and forth to work, which is only 9 miles. The pipe doesn't get hot enough in that short distance.
But as far as performance on mile goes, I have almost no popping at all and I can't feel a flat spot anywhere. I'm about at the 6000 mile service, so I'll probably get it dynoed at that point to see about the re-map. But for whatever reason, it seems to be able to snap the front up a little easier now, if that's possible.
I'll let you know if I come up with a solution for the rubbing Joey.

nice shot xspeed3x, I gotta get more pictures of my bike. seems like many people on this site are photography enthusiasts as well as motorcycle riders. I see your pipe sits directly under the turn signal too. Any melting???
BTW -I like the aluminum pipe on the black special edition. My bike is a regular black S3 but I got the wheels powdercoated black and the carbon fiber tank to give it a darker look. My grey frame makes a nice contrast to all the black I added to my bike. The same way your aluminum pipe contrasts with the all black frame. I took the red Jardine sticker off my pipe to keep it all streamlined black and gray. Hesitated to do it though after spending 500 bucks to get that good name brand pipe!
