Hi all. I'm new to this site, joined a couple of days ago.

I sold my ZX12R two weeks ago, rushed over to my dealer and ordered a new S3. Found out on Tuesday that I'm going to have to wait until June 15 for my black bike. AARRRGGHH!!

If I wanted yellow, I could get it May 20. I think I will wait for the black. Oh the pain!!! I managed to get a test ride a couple of weeks ago on one of only two in the country at that time, this only makes the waiting worse, because I know what I am missing out on!!

Reading about all you guys enjoying your bikes on this site, and looking at the pictures, is making the waiting unbearable.

This is one of the disadvantages of living in a small market, (Australia) as all the bigger markets get looked after first.

June 15 is middle of winter here, so it will be pissing down when the bike arrives.....

The scorched yellow is a very cool colour.
I would strongly consider it if you're in physical/mental pain!

(I'm waiting too)

I recently had a factory tour and yeah the yellow is much better than I'd thought. Then I saw one a few days ago on the road going the other way and yes again, I like the yellow. Not as nice as the black of course.... :-D

Hey Legman,

Welcome, good to see another Aussie about this forum. x() If you really want a bike now, Northside motorcycles have a gold one on the floor ready for the first one in with the cash. They're in Artarmon in Sydney. I have a black 99, I woudn't care about the colour tho' the gold is very different!

Check out the Tiger forum for a guy called Timtiger, he's in your neck of the woods and a very nice fellow!

Cheers
Mick

Thanks for the info Mick. I think I will wait for the black, I'm a very old fashioned kind of biker, although I do like the gold forks, unlike a lot of others.

Someone who likes yellow will have probably picked up the S3 in Artamon by now.

Cheers

John
