I'm in the market to get a can for my 04 S3 and am perplexed on watch to get. I have heard a couple at the track and like the Wolf and Jardine but I like the Blue Fame's dual ports.

Does anyone have a Blue Fame on their bike?

Any suggestions on which one they think is best for my S3(sound/power)?

Sorry for bring this up but I have to make a decision before my wife finds out that I don't really need it (I have her thinking I do now but that won't last long).

Thx

Speed is a question of money. Pipes aren't the best way to find horsepower but they are one of the cheapest ways meaning you'll find some HP but it likely won't be significant. Although the sound will make you feel like a hero. You could spend a lot of time fretting over which pipe will give you the biggest gain but in reality none of them will make a big diff. Based on that you should get what you think looks good, they will all sound better than stock. I've got Akrapovic, another guy has Jardine, and they all work fine!

To be fair on the S3 pipes will find very significant HP - like 9 bhp gain with ours (email me if you want a copy of the dyno charts)

Obviously I am going to say Wolf are the best as I make them (and MCN agree as we won the largest back to back test ever done) but what I can say is with ours or BF you wont be disappointed so pick which you like the look of best and you'll be happy either way!

A friend of mine has a low-mount BF on his '99 and it sounds nice. A little less raspy than my Triumph hi-mount, not as loud. I also like the dual port tip on the BF. But IMO, you have to have a hi-mount to show off the wheel.

Thx
I just got my Ti, high mount, dual port, Blueflame can mounted and tuned by my dealer with the Triumph high mount map. I love it; looks good, sounds good and is a unique choice. Sound is fairly mild, but I haven't taken out either of the 2 removable baffles yet, so that will change soon. Throttle response seems very good (but that may also change as I start messing with the baffles). Fit and finish also seems very good (so far) and it comes with spacers so you can keep the rear pegs. If the sun ever comes back out, and I figure out how, I'll post some pics.

I want to install BlueFlames on my ST 05, but for the moment they are not available for ST05.
I mounted a BF on my Hornet and it was superb, that's why I want also BF on y speed triple. (also the speed of delivery and the fine response when contacting these guys is superb)

I send the guys of blueflame an email and that was the response:

(received this email on 29 april 05)
We will have a new ’05 Speed triple in for development next week. Expect replacement end cans to be available within 4 weeks. Sorry but I’m not able to confirm prices until we’ve made the cans. Keep an eye on our web site for new model releases.

Kindest regards

So far all owners of model 2005, we will have to wait another month.....

But for xSpeed3x: I can recommend BlueFlames.....
