It's not a full-on road test with numbers and such, but U.S. magazine Cycle World has a write-up about the new Speed Triple in the June '05 edition. The writer (Mark Hoyer) liked it a lot; his only negative comment was about the brakes. His words: "(Triumph Product Manager Ross) Clifford said engineers tuned the brakes for a more progressive feel than your typical hard-lever/aggressive radial setup, but they went a bit too far for our taste, eliciting the dreaded "mushy" response from one tester when asked to describe the feeling at the adjustable lever. Outright power is there, but the in-between stages are just a little off. Small stuff in the grand scheme - don't let the brakes stop you from getting a Speed Triple."

Everything else was positive. :-D

He dropped the bike, by the way. 'Course, it was snowing when he did it...

Edit: Where did the "4564" at the beginning come from? I didn't put it there and can't edit it out.
