I just order a micron exhaust from www.streetfightersusa.com for my triumph speed triple. I'm trying to put it on and I swear it doesn't fit. The connecting pipe is way to long. Does anyone know about this micron exhaust. Send me a picture, a link, anything I can use to help me figure this out. I'm so upset!!
Thanks

I attempted to purchase a Micron exhaust for my '03 S3 a month ago...however, upon emailing and later talking at length to a rep - they DO NOT make an exhaust can that would fit my S3.

You did not note what year your S3 is - but my info was that they didn't have a large enough market and that Triumph themselves were kind of hedging on letting out any dimensional differences from year to year...thus making R & D impossible for manufacturers like Micron, Staintune, Yosh, Muzzy, anybody - to do any business. Most manufactureres just gave up on the Triumph line because they would spend many dollars on developing a can and then it be dimensionally different and Triumph being fickle about telling the world that they HAD modified the dimennsions.
Tough to do business with a bike maker that does that..!!!

I went with the Wolf hi-mount - and will ride it a long ways today and give a full ride report ASAP.

Nice item - well built - you might check it out.

I hate being fed bull by people I'm trying to deal with, I find it an insult to my intelligence. Seems to me your Micron rep told you the truth when he spoke about market, then went on to spout crap. I'm sure Micron know their business, and if they calculate it isn't financially beneficial to produce cans for S3's due to the structure of their organisation, then why would they? Businesses after all exist to make profit. Why though can't their reps be honest and simply admit that? Why try to blame Triumph? If Micron only needed the dimensions to develop a can, they could pop down theit local dealer and buy one. Consider that Wolf and Art have both allready developed cans for the 05 S3. How did they do it? Are they powerful magicians taking on the Evil Lord Triumph? No I don't think so either. Personally I'd E.mail the Micron rep back and tell him he's a wanker.... but then I'm just plain uncouth.
