Safety wire an S3

Hi Crew,
I'm starting to safety wire various parts on my S3. Oil plug, radiator cap, oil filter, clamps..... Getting ready for the track in 09.

Has anyone done this to the S3 before? Just wondering how it went for you.

Larry

Why? Have you caps and plugs been falling out? It's a British quality piece of machinery.

Wired dirt bikes years ago (Anyone remember Bultaco and Ossa?) and an AMC SC drag car, but never my trumpets. Interesting idea.

Do they legally need to be safety wired?

Depends on the level on track work you do.

To run in a race class on a track, parts need safety wire. Nothing to do with s3, it a rule for all bikes.

Rear caliper, chain adjuster, brake line banjo bolts. See the photos. Finally got a heater for my garage! Life is good!
