Thumbs up Sport-Standard Comparo, Guess Who Won?

Found this today, a comparison between the 2008 Z1000, FZ1, and Speed Triple.

Another one up for the Speed Triple.

And there is also another review from Visordown against the Tuono, also seeming to favor the Speed Triple, even though he didn't come out and say it outright.

Seems like an early Christmas present for Triumph. My first post, long time reader. Hello all.

Sport Bike buyer's guide was complimentary also. The S3 is simply too good a bike to ignore.

Someone beat you to the punch a couple of months ago on the Rider mag article. http://www.triumphrat.net/speed-trip...er-eaters.html

As the extinction of naked bikes continue in the U.S., the Speed Triple continues to sell well. Thank God!

I have that issue in hard copy.

They say: " An odd quirk of the Speed Triple was about a half-dozen missed shifts during the ride. ".

I have a 2008 and I think it is the smoothest gearbox I have ever owned so I disagree with that statement entirely. I do feel the suspension needs work to be really good however.

Yeah, I subscribe to Rider. It was a decent article in that it seemed to be an honest appraisal of each bike. Our Speed Triple is truly a diamond in the rough.
